Ze’ev Hochberg MD, PhD is Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
He received his MD (1973) from Tel Aviv University and his PhD (1984) from the Technion, Haifa. Hee has investigation focused on the basic principles in child growth’s machinery, evolutionary perspectives and mechanisms. He is the Editor-in Chief of the Yearbook in Pediatric Endocrinology and the author of Evo-Devo of Child Growth: Treatise on Child Growth and Maturation, Wiley, 2012. He is the past President of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) and the past Secretary General of Global Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes GPED. He is the recipient of the Andrea Prader Prize and the ESPE Research Award.
