Andrea Merker is PhD student at the Department of Women’s Children’s Health, Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden.
Her research area is on auxology and her PhD project focuses on describing growth and body proportions in achondroplasia and other skeletal dysplasias with extreme short stature. She has also been working with cross-sectional growth and body proportion data of 27.000 children for constructing national growth curves for Colombia.
