Conversations are to be submitted to the Editor [rprzeev@technion.ac.il] for editorial consideration.
If considered appropriate for publication, an editor is nominated and the Conversation is reviewed by two reviewers.
Using good, rigorous but friendly peer-review, we aim to provide authors with constructive feedback from relevant experts which they can use to make improvements to their work, thus ensuring it is of the highest standard possible.
At EGM, reviewing is a collaborative process that allows manuscripts submitted to be evaluated and commented upon by independent experts within the same field of research.
A reviewer may disagree with the author’s opinions, but should allow them to stand, provided they are consistent with the available evidence and the paper be of interest to the readership of EGM. Reviewers’ comments may be published, as decided by the reviewer.
The process is conducted as an open conversation between author, reviewers and editors as to how the paper can be improved to maximize its impact and further research in the field.
