Prof. Orit Pinhas-Hamiel received her medical degree at Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. She completed her specialization in Pediatrics at the Sheba Medical Center, and was a clinical fellow in Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio USA.
Prof. Pinhas-Hamiel’s research interests are within the fields of type 1 diabetes, eating disorders and she is particularly interested in obesity associated comorbidities, specifically type-2 diabetes mellitus in children and adolescents.
